THE STORY OF VANDENBERGH
Bob Vandenbergh has spent his entire working life in the construction trades. Over three and a half decades, he established Vandenbergh Concrete & Excavating as Central Illinois' go-to contractor for challenging earthwork, deep underground utility runs, and high-tolerance commercial concrete paving.
Today, that tradition moves into the future with second-generation leadership. Kolby Vandenbergh, a 2020 Western Illinois University graduate, oversees daily field scheduling, equipment logistics, and site operations — bringing modern GPS machine control and precision laser screed workflows to every job.

Western Illinois University graduate (2020) who entered the family business full-time. Manages day-to-day field operations, equipment deployment, crew schedules, and site execution. Also competes in #15 dirt late-model racing across regional circuits.
Jason Rath
Foreman
Three decades of field leadership running high-tolerance excavation, underground pipe laying, GPS grading, and precision commercial slab installations across Central Illinois.
